Sorrel leaves taste quite sour, as the name suggests. Cooked in the soup, they develop a pleasant aroma reminiscent of sour cream.

750mlvegetable broth

Anleitung
Peel and dice the onion. Heat butter in a pot and sauté the onion until translucent. Pour in the vegetable broth or water and soup seasoning and bring to a boil..
In the meantime, wash and chop the sorrel.
Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes (about 1 cm). Add sorrel and potatoes to the pot and let simmer for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
Puree with an immersion blender, optionally refine with cream, season with pepper and salt.
